MISSION STATEMENT
Our purpose is to develop and deliver soccer programs that focus on the whole individual by fostering the values of respect, integrity, and service. Our athletes will be challenged to promote sportsmanship while making positive contributions to their community.
COACHES
Anna Edwards

Anna Edwards was raised in Midway, Utah. She started playing soccer when she was two years old and quickly found a love for the sport. As a teenager, she played in Utah’s top premier soccer league with her club team as well as varsity soccer at Wasatch High. She also ran varsity XC & track.
In college, Anna attended Brigham Young University where she got her Bachelors degree in Elementary Education. She student taught in Nebo School District and maintains a current substitute teaching license with them.
Anna has a grassroots coaching license from U.S. Soccer and has been coaching at Aloha Soccer for two years. Coach Anna loves coaching youth soccer and her highest priorities are to develop players soccer skills, create an uplifting learning environment, and to help players gain critical life skills. Anna loves to spend time with her family, play pickleball, read books, and be in nature.
Stephen Blake was born and raised in the islands of Fiji—Bula!While in high school, he ran track and played soccer and field hockey.
Stephen represented his country and played soccer for the Fiji Soccer U17, U20, Olympic, Men’s National Teams, and was able to travel all of the South Pacific and much of Southeast Asia for competition.
After playing soccer for his country, Brigham Young University Hawaii offered him an academic and athletic scholarship where he graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in Exercise & Sport Science.
He holds a C & D License from the U.S. Soccer Federation, and has more than 15 years of experience training and coaching youth soccer.
Coach Blake loves helping our youth succeed and preparing them to be great citizens! Stephen especially enjoys hanging out with his wife, two children, and their little dog.
Steve Friedmann
Steve was born and raised just outside of Nashville, Tennessee.
He developed a love for sports at an early age while playing baseball, football, soccer, golf, and ice hockey. His love for soccer continued to grow as he watched Diego Maradona dazzle the world with his unmatched soccer skill.
After HS, Steve served a two-year church mission in Chile. While there, he learned and experienced what soccer means to the people
of South America.
Steve has been coaching youth soccer for over 10 years and has a grassroots coaching license from U.S. Soccer as well as multiple diplomas from United Soccer Coaches. His main emphasis has been 4v4, 7v7, and 9v9. He has also assisted with development of goalkeeping academies and trainings with groups in Mexico.
Coach Friedmann loves coaching and watching players develop while developing a love for the game. Having fun in a safe environment is what it’s all about. Steve loves spending time with his wife and four kids.
Rachelle Beyler
Rachelle Beyler was raised in Lakewood, Washington, where her love for the outdoors and soccer began at a young age. She brings diverse experience in the sport as a player, referee, and coach. Rachelle played varsity soccer all four years of high school and competed on a select club team. At age 12, she became a USSF grassroots referee and later earned WOA certification to officiate middle and high school matches. Over the years, she refereed youth games from U8 to U18 and volunteered as an assistant coach for a U13/U14 team during high school.
Rachelle is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Wellness and will graduate in December 2025. She is also working toward her NSCA Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) credential and holds a grassroots coaching license from U.S. Soccer. She is passionate about youth development and believes in the power of sport to build confidence, character, and community.
In addition to her dedication to soccer, Rachelle enjoys journaling, playing the piano, and is currently training for an ultra-marathon. She is committed to fostering positive, growth-oriented environments and helping young athletes not only improve their soccer skills but also love who they are and who they are becoming.
Eurico Sachiungue
Eurico Sachiungue was born and raised in Luanda, Angola. He grew up playing soccer in the streets with friends and cousins, where a ball and a clear patch of dirt were all that was needed for hours of fun. Watching football with his siblings quickly became a beloved family tradition and helped spark his lifelong passion for the game.
After moving to the United States as a teenager, Rico continued to stay involved with soccer, playing recreationally and in intramural leagues while attending Brigham Young University–Idaho. After becoming a father, he eventually started coaching his daughter’s team, and his love for the game grew into a passion for coaching.
Coach Rico focuses on building strong foundational skills, encouraging teamwork, and fostering a genuine love for the game. He brings energy, culture, and positivity to the field.
When he’s not coaching, he enjoys playing soccer with his daughter, cheering on their favorite teams together, and creating lifelong memories around the sport they both love.
Leia Rasmussen
Leia’s passion for soccer began at age 7 in Rushville, New York. Her journey accelerated when she was invited to join a competitive club team under the guidance of an exceptional mentor, Coach Myers. That experience introduced her to year-round play, including indoor soccer—an environment where she fell in love with the game all over again.
By 14, Leia earned a spot on her high school varsity team, stepping up as a left wing to meet the team’s needs. Throughout high school, she rotated between holding midfielder and wing positions, culminating in a standout senior season as her team competed at the state level.
In 1999, Leia moved to Utah to attend the University of Utah, where she continued her love of the game through competitive intramural indoor and outdoor teams. Her coaching career began in 2007 with a U9 boys team in Hurricane, Utah. That summer, her team competed in the Utah Summer Games—a season she describes as “epic.”
In recent years, Leia has coached in the Vineyard City League, where she continues to pour her energy into developing young players. She’s passionate about mentoring youth, helping them reach their goals, and teaching them the value of teamwork and perseverance.
Leia is a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), and she and her husband Aaron have been married for 20 years. They live in Vineyard with their four active boys. Outside of soccer, Leia enjoys gardening and exploring the outdoors on nature hikes.
